メキシコの職人による優れた技術を追求するべく生まれたLUZ COLLECTION。メキシコ・チアバス州の小さな村に住んでいる女性たちによって、メキシコで古くから使われている織り機を使い、一枚の生地から作られているコットントートバッグ。
ハンモックを思わせる持ち手部分は、生地を織る際に縦糸を長く残し、一本一本手作業でロープ編みを施しています。

The LUZ COLLECTION was created in pursuit of superior Mexican craftsmanship. These tote bags are made by women living in a small village in the state of Chiavas, Mexico, using a loom that has been used there for centuries. The hammock-like handles are made by leaving the warp threads long when weaving the fabric.
