沖縄・北中城村のスタジオで制作を行う作家・壺内文太。再生ガラスからひとつひとつ丁寧に吹き上げられる作品は、その素材ならではのほのかに青みを帯びた色合いと、揺らぎのある有機的なフォルムが特徴です。どこか柔らかく、沖縄の光や空気を内包したような質感が、日常にさりげない豊かさを添えてくれます。作品づくりと並行して、持続可能な制作の形を探求しながら、ガラスの可能性を広げています。

From his studio in Kita-Nakagusuku, Okinawa, glass artist Bunta Tsubouchi hand-blows each piece with great care using recycled glass.His works are distinguished by their subtle bluish hues—an inherent quality of the material—as well as softly undulating surfaces and organic forms. Each piece carries a gentle presence that seems to hold the light and air of Okinawa, quietly enriching everyday life.In parallel with his practice, Tsubouchi continues to explore sustainable methods of production, expanding the creative possibilities of glass.
