板ガラスの廃材をアップサイクルした花器 Layシリーズ。照明やアート作品を作る際に出る端材や傷ついたガラスは、捨てずに吹きガラスで新たな形として生まれています。板ガラス特有の色味と、あえて取り入れた大胆な気泡が、まるで水を思わせるデザインです。口が広く、花束をどさっと生けられるのも特徴。サステイナブルでありながら存在感のある Lay は、日常を少し特別にしてくれる花器です。

TOUMEI is a glassware brand created by Fukuoka-based glass artists Tomoko Wada and Baku Takahashi in Munakata City, Japan. Their work brings a quiet, transparent presence that subtly enhances everyday living.

The Lay series is a collection of vases made by upcycling discarded sheet glass. Offcuts and damaged pieces generated in the process of making lighting and art objects are not discarded, but instead reformed through glassblowing into new shapes. The unique tones of sheet glass, combined with intentionally incorporated bold air bubbles, create a water-like, fluid expression. With its wide opening, the vase easily accommodates full, generous bouquets. Sustainable yet striking in presence, the Lay series brings a quiet sense of specialness to everyday life.
